Make Money with Kassper

Kassper is a blogger and a great friend of mine, he’s been blogging for longer than I have but he’s always been there for me to lend a helping hand. I would have to honestly say that he is one of my best online blogging friends.

Besides Kassper’s day job as a financial consultant, he also has a goal to make some money from his blog, and from what I can tell, he’s been quite successful at it. I always learn so much from his experiences. So here he is.

Simon: Could you tell us a little about yourself, such as your name, age, education, hobbies, and anything else interesting?

Kassper: Of course my friend, my name is Dario, I’m 24 and I come from a beautiful town called Koprivnica (Croatia) and am a college graduate in economics – finance and marketing.

At the moment, besides my online projects, I work as an financial consultant where I manage my own time, and I work for a construction company in their commercial sector.

It’s hard for me to find some time for hobbies, but when I do make the time, it’s usually for playing some friendly poker with my friends and sometimes football…

Simon: When did you discover blogging, and what were your first reactions to the concept?

Kassper: Blogging is just great, isn’t it? :)

I started blogging about 4 months ago and decided to make my own blog then. As soon as I started blogging more seriously I just fell in love with it. I can’t even imagine myself giving up on blogging now ;)

Simon: What are your main reasons for blogging?

Kassper: I started blogging to make money. And I do make it now so there are other reasons why I enjoy blogging. I like the blogosphere itself. So many bloggers around the world with so many great ideas. I enjoy reading my favorite blogs and most of all, I enjoy learning something new each day and every day.

Simon: Do you prefer to use blogger, wordpress, or something else?

Kassper: Wordpress is the mother of blogs.

Simon: Could you explain why?

Kassper: There are many features that provides Wordpress and no one else. The plugins, themes, support, dashboard etc. etc.

For all new bloggers out there, I would definitely recommend Wordpress as their new blog platform.

Simon: Do you set goals for what you want your blog to achieve?

Kassper: Yes I do. It is very important to know where you want to take your blog! Setting up goals is the key for success in blogging.

Simon: Do you feel that you are or can reach those goals?

Kassper: Again yes. I think that anyone can achieve their goals if they know what they want, it just takes time, perseverance and determination.

I have set up some goals for my web projects and I am doing my best to make them work. I think the results will come eventually.

Simon: We all want to make money with our blog, do you have any favorite methods for doing that?

Kassper: Direct advertising. Need I say more? ;)

Simon: How did you get such a large AGLOCO network?

Kassper: My agloco network is not that big, there’s about 50 members in it and that’s nothing compared to the big fishes…

Simon: Whats your favorite method for generating traffic?

Kassper: SEO. In my opinion, the best traffic you can get on to your blog is through search engines. That’s why I find SEO one of the most important factors for generating traffic.

Simon: How much longer will you continue blogging?

Kassper: I can not picture myself giving up on blogging! I will continue blogging for as long as I will be able to.

Interview with EmpererAnton

I’ve decided to start posting some interviews with interesting bloggers from time to time, hopefully we can all benefit from their combined expertise.

The first interview is with a blogger named Adam Donkus. Adam Donkus, AKA EmpererAnton, is a Father, Teacher, Entrepreneur, and Blogger who is also interested in Technology, Business, and Blogging. He has been blogging for quite a while now, that makes him more of an expert than me.

Simon: Could you tell us a little about yourself, such as your name, hobbies, and what you do for a living?

EmperorAnton: My name is Adam Donkus and currently I work in the Search Engine Optimization field.
Currently my hobbies are limited to spending time with my kids, traveling with my wife and sometimes children. I also enjoy watching my son play hockey for the Reading Junior Royals.
Quite a bit of free time is spent online blogging.

Simon: What was your first reaction when you discovered blogging?

EmperorAnton: I thought of different blogs that I wanted to start.

Simon: How long have you been blogging?

EmperorAnton: I have been blogging for well over two years.

Simon: What would you say is the most important factor in any blog?

EmperorAnton: How the blog develops and encourages others to read and participate in order to grow a sense of community.

Simon: All of us want to make money online, what would you say is the best method for doing this?

EmperorAnton: I have made a nice living out of providing services to those who want to sell online or those who want to develop an online presence in order to assist an off line business.
But there are so many ways to make money online, I don’t believe that there is any one best method.
However, I do love the methods that create passive income.

Simon: Do you prefer more traffic, or more feed subscribers?

EmperorAnton: I prefer feed subscribers, but traffic that is targeted and not random is beauteous as well.

Simon: Why is that?

EmperorAnton: Feed subscribers tend to be regular readers. Traffic could be one time hits that come from a search engine or from sites like Stumbleupon that see a page once never to return.
Once someone has subscribed, they will return over and over again hopefully. Return business/readers is what blogging is about.

Simon: In one sentence, what is your advice to bloggers that are just starting out?

EmperorAnton: Don’t listen to me.lol I certainly don’t know everything, and have a lot to learn about blogging.
There are some really great new bloggers out there that have the ability to write with a voice that moves people. That is a gift that brings return readers.
When writing try to develop your voice, be unique and readers will come.

In the words of Nike, just do it. Just write.

Adam’s blog can be found at http://www.pixelheadonline.com/blog/, check it out if you want to know more about him.
