Blogging with Desi Baba (Review)

I have to say that Desi’s blog is one of the better looking blogs that I have seen on the net so far. I am a firm believer in first impressions, and I must say that Desi does a pretty good job of it. In the blogging world, the best first impression that can be given is a when the posts are a decent size (not less than 150 words), and they aren’t overpowered by the amount of ads, especially ads that don’t match the style of the blog. Desi scores straight A’s on both counts. He has a few ads on his blog, but instead of detracting from the blog and great content, they somehow seem to blend in such a way that they add to the style of the blog.

The content is the other factor influencing my first impression. In this department Desi Baba goes far from wrong. I haven’t read a whole lot of his blog yet, but after reading the few posts that I did, I subscribed to his feed, and I would recommend you do the same. His posts are long enough to get the point in a simple and direct way, but at the same time, they won’t carry on longer than necessary, so you definitely won’t get bored.

Desi blogs mainly about blogging, Internet, technology, and making money. But, to his credit, he doesn’t let that hamper his personal style, so he will blog on anything that gets into his head, and we are all very privileged, when he shares these thoughts with us.

Some of the post that stood out to me are:

Do yourself a favor and check it out.

MagsDirect (Review)

So here’s an interesting idea, how about having one place where you can subscribe to all your favorite magazines? It’s just that simple, with a few clicks of your mouse, and you’re in business. MagsDirect.com is a company that is offering this service, at very competitive prices.

With a database of over 1000 magazines to chose from, you get the feeling that you just can’t go wrong. It’s all divided into very manageable sections, so its easy to find what you’re looking for. Some of the more eye catching sections, in my opinion, are business, car, cooking and food, fitness, men’s, sport, and travel. You can also search for the particular magazine you’re looking for by using their handy search bar.

I cannot forget their 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you aren’t happy, for any reason, with the magazine that you have subscribed for, you can cancel your subscription and MagsDirect will refund you for all the issues you haven’t yet recieved via your chosen payment method. And you don’t have to worry about hidden costs either, what you see is what you have to pay since they won’t charge sales tax or shipping.

All in all, this is a must see for anyone that appreciates some light reading from time to time. So go check it out.
