I want to tell you about a game that I played not long ago. The games name is ‘Uefa Champions League 2006-2007′. It’s like FIFA 2007, but it has a few updates, like new teams, but there is also some things about the game that aren’t so good, like the game play. It’s not like FIFA, where, in my opinion, the players are moving faster, but the deficit is caused (maybe) because the view is wide screen. It has some good things as well, a better sound quality and more playing types.

One of the best playing types is The Treble. There you have to pick a team, have some training games, buy/sell players when the transfer window is opened, pick the best playing strategy that will fit all your players, and then try to accomplish the desires of the board of directors.

I have to say that I’m outraged by one thing. I’m from Romania and in one of EA`s football games, there wasn`t a romanian team for some years, but they put Steaua Bucharest. The players are not known even for me. There are players who never played for Steaua (I have suspicions that some of those players didn`t ever exist), and players from 1986 when Steaua won the UCL. I have to say that EA don`t care that much about Romania.

It can be played on all platforms (except Nintendo DS), and is accessible for everyone (or not) because it`s price is around $39.99.

For anyone that has tried to make any serious cash off of a program like this, I feel your pain. A few years back I wasted a chunk of my life trying to prove to my friends and family that it could be done (I’m still recovering in their eyes), I could, in fact, make some money from this. I was even so stupid to pay 10 dollars to one of them.

Don’t get me wrong, I truly believe that money can be made from these paid-to-read or click or whatever programs, I was just going about it the wrong way. I was totally blinded by greed that I didn’t realize what kind of programs I was signing up for. Recently, to the dismay of my family, I decided to give it another go, but this time I think I’ve got it figured out. And yes, I’ve finally been paid out once or twice.

The secret I discovered is no big deal, but I’ll share it with you anyway.

There are two types of paid-to programs, the scams, and the legitimate ones. The secret to this whole world is finding out what type you are getting in bed with. The good news is that its not as hard as one might think.

Back in the day when I was losing my precious time over all the scams, there was one simple truth that I didn’t understand, and that truth was that I had no idea how the system worked. Since then I’ve grown, and the way it works is simple. Lets say, for the sake of the illustration, that you sign up for a paid-to-surf program. What this means is that they will pay you for viewing the sites that they give you to view, usually you have to view them for an amount of time, such as 60 seconds (it varies). The theory is that companies pay them to display their site to the members, and you, as a member, get a cut, and everyone is happy. In theory this works pretty well, because say a company pays $1.50 to have their site displayed to 100 members, now the paid-to-surf program is offering you 1 cent per site that you view. So 1 cent multiplied by 100 members is 1 dollar. The paid-to-surf program makes 50 cents off the deal, you make 1 cent, and the company got some exposure, everyone is happy.

The problem that I had was that I wasn’t happy with the 1 cent, so I was chasing the scams. Its pretty easy to spot a scam, because they will not hesitate to offer 100 dollars per e-mail, or 50 dollars per click, etc. And they will pay you out at these grandious amounts of 10,000 dollars, which is not hard to get to.

My advice to anyone wanting to try their hand at this form of income is simple, if its too good to be true, its a lie, not ‘maybe its a lie’, it is a lie.
